An eco village is what you get when a group of people design a whole way of living from scratch, on purpose, together.
Most of us live inside choices other people made long ago, in the layout of our streets and the shape of our houses. An eco village is a group that decided to make those choices deliberately instead.
The idea is simple and old. Gather people who want to live lightly, give them a piece of land, and let them design the housing, food, energy, and social life as one connected whole rather than a pile of separate fixes.
